The Uehara House created 3 unique spaces on the three floors by the same structural system, which is the branched column. They support the house in a limited area and limited front façade 5-meter height. Therefore, the middle floor is a beamless slab to maximize the space between the first and the second floor.

Three pairs of branched columns structural system essentially created three very unique spaces, which has made it distinctive to other houses with consistent spaces. 1st floor: Hollow and Spacious. The beamless floor slab split the branched columns, therefore the people couldonly see six rectangle columns and the cantilevered car park space. 2nd floor: Dense and Congregated The six columns in a space drastically transformed into eighteen columns, as it showed the branched part of the six columns. 3rd floor: Hollow A hemisphere space where the columns suddenly disappeared
